Due to funding uncertainty, the ION and AFRL have decided not to hold a 10^th annual RLC in the summer of 2013.  After having provided nine successful competitions for over 450 students from 25 schools, we felt it was time to make a change in order to reduce funding/infrastructure/manpower requirements.  We’re planning to present a new competition concept for spring/summer 2014 (indoor quadrotor navigation, on-site coding challenge, etc. – feel free to provide your ideas!) and are working to have that finalized by the summer of 2013.  The ION Snowplow Competition(autosnowplow.com, Jan. 2013) is another option if teams wish to repurpose an existing mower chassis in the current academic year.
